What a contractor’s website has to do
- Put the phone number where a thumb can reach it. Many people calling a roofer or a cleaner are on a phone, sometimes standing in the problem. A call button at the top of every page matters more than anything clever.
- Say where you work. List the towns and counties you cover, plainly. It helps customers and it helps Google match you to “near me” searches.
- Show finished work. Real photos of your jobs do more than any stock image. Before and after, close-ups of the finish, the crew on site.
- Make the estimate easy. A short form that lets people describe the job and attach a few photos saves you a site visit for small jobs.
- Show you are legitimate. License and insurance, how long you have worked here, real reviews, a real name.
- Handle urgent work. If you do storm or emergency calls, say so up front with a separate, faster path.
Concept sites we built for the trades
These are concepts, not real businesses: full sites we designed to show what a trade website can be. Click through and try them on your phone.
Real client work
Home services is also where our client work started: Golden Bee Cleaning in Mars Hill came to us for a site that feels trustworthy enough to let a cleaning crew into your home or cabin.
Which plan fits
Most trade businesses do well on the Base website ($799): home, services, gallery, service area and contact. If you have many services, want a page for each town or service, or want the extra polish, the Premium website ($1,499) covers up to 10 pages. Pair either with Google Business setup ($149), because for trades the map listing often brings in more calls than the website itself.
Questions
Can customers send photos with their estimate request?
Yes, we can build the estimate form to accept photos, so you can price small jobs without a visit. The True Plane concept shows how that works.
Do you build pages for each town I serve?
On the Premium plan we can, where there is something real to say about the work in each town. Copy-paste town pages tend to hurt more than they help, so we do not make those.
How long does it take?
Most Valdra Co. websites are built in 5 to 14 business days. The clock starts once the agreement is signed, the deposit is paid and we have your materials (logo, photos, text), so the more you have ready, the sooner it launches.
