What a restaurant website has to do
- Put the menu on the page as real text, not a PDF. A PDF is slow on a phone, awkward to zoom and hard for Google and AI assistants to read. A text menu can be found when someone searches for a dish.
- Keep the hours right. Hours on the site, on Google and on social media should always match, including holidays and seasonal changes.
- Make the booking or the order the obvious next step. One clear button, whether it links to your reservation system, your online ordering or your phone.
- Show the room and the food. People choose a restaurant on feeling. Good photos of the dining room, the plates and the people do that work.
- Make it easy to find you. Address, parking, a map, and whether you are accessible and family friendly.
Asheville is also a visitor town. A lot of your customers are searching from a hotel room or a car, on a phone, often for the first time. The site has to be fast and clear for someone who has never heard of you.
Concept sites we built for food and drink
These are concepts, not real businesses: full sites we designed to show what a restaurant or café site can be.
Which plan fits
A café or a small restaurant usually fits the Base website ($799): home, menu, about, visit and contact. A restaurant that wants seasonal menus, private events, a story section and more atmosphere fits the Premium website ($1,499). If you take reservations or appointments directly, online booking and reminders is a $249 add-on, and Google Business setup ($149) keeps your hours and photos right on Maps.
Questions
Can you put our menu on the site so we can change it?
Yes. We build the menu as real text, which is better for customers and for search than a PDF. Small updates such as prices and dishes are included on the Hosted plan and the Priority care plan.
Can you connect our reservation or ordering system?
In most cases, yes: we link or embed the system you already use so customers book or order from your site. Tell us which one you use when you get in touch.
How long does it take?
Most Valdra Co. websites are built in 5 to 14 business days. The clock starts once the agreement is signed, the deposit is paid and we have your materials (logo, photos, text), so the more you have ready, the sooner it launches.
